2 Wire Applications:
Most applications require only two wires as they power just a simple switch, or an exit device with latch retraction. The EPT-2 fits these applications well.
More than 2 Wires Required:
10/ea 24 ga. wires - if powering a device such as an EL exit device from Von Duprin you will need 18 ga. or more wire. You can double up on the 24 ga. wires.

completely concealed when the door is in the closed position, and are ideally suite for installations involving abuse or heavy traffic.
The EPT can be used with inswing or outswing doors. Door can swing up to 180 degrees with standard hinges. Do not use with center-hung pivots or swing-clear hinges.
The EPT can be used for:

0 - 180° opening with up to 5 butt hinges
0 - 180° opening with up to 3/4 offset pivots
0 - 130° opening with 5-1/2 butt hinges
0 - 110° opening with 6 butt hinges
