Wonderful Late Roman Bronze lock with face Very nice ring dot detail around the edge of the face and ring and dot eye detail Cross and line decoration around the outside of the lock face. Lid with face on slightly open, but does not open fully Museum quality. From Top to Bottom of Face = 4cm, Across = 3cm, Depth = 4.5cm, Weight = 57.1g - This type of lock may be the very first keyed type padlock ever made. Only about 150 have been found.
