ROMAN BRONZE KEY 1st AD , Found in the Balkans, 90mm

Here is a very unusual old chunky key. If you look closely at the bit or working end you'll see holes instead of the usual ward cuts. I have not seen many like this. Presumably very rare. Unfortunately the key broke in half in shipping so eventually will need to be conserved.
