An extremely rare shaped combination bronze and iron Roman door key. What make it unusual is the bit or front end is made of iron and has the usual iron corrosion but the handle end is very decorative and made from bronze so has held up much better. Now why they made it like this is a good question! Dating to about the 2nd C. A.D. 6.8 cm long. Definitely a key that should be in a museum.
